Description of Support Materials for Purchase
The Stop & Think Five-Step Grade-Level Posters consist of 5 or 10 (depending on the English or English/Spanish version)) separate jpegs of the 5 Stop & Think Universal Steps: "Stop & Think," "Are You Going to Make a Good Choice or a Bad Choice," "What are Your Choices or Steps?" "Just Do It," and "Tell Yourself You Did a Good Job" (a pdf file with all of the posters is included).
Two separate sets are available: One with the preK to Grade 3 posters in both English and Spanish; One with the Grades 4 through 8 posters in English only.
Most school print these files into posters that teachers display in the classroom and use when conducting teaching lessons with the Stop & Think Social Skills.

The Stop & Think Grade-Level Skills Cards (Four Sets of 20 Skill Cards Available: for the preK to Grade 1, Grades 2-3, Grades 4-5, Grades 6-8 levels, respectively):
Each grade level of the Stop & Think Social Skills Program concentrates on 10 Core and 10 Advanced Skills. These are practical skills that help students to manage their own behavior and to successfully interact with others: Listening, Following Directions, Asking for Help, Ignoring Distractions, Accepting Consequences, Apologizing, Dealing with Teasing, Handling Peer Pressure, How to Set Goals.
Each set of Skill Cards has the 20 skills for that grade level. Each skill card has the social skills steps that students need to learn and do in order to effectively demonstrate that social skill.
The Skill Cards come in a pdf file that can easily be transferred into separate jpeg pictures for printing.

The Stop & Think Large/Small Stop Signs are typically printed for posting in the classroom, hallways, and other common areas around the school (the large Stop signs), and for the students (the small Stop signs) to put on their desks or in their binders.
Each set of Stop signs comes in both pdf and jpeg format with two different variations of the stop signs provided.

Description of the Stop & Think Program
The nationally-acclaimed, evidence-based Stop and Think Social Skills Program is one of the top social skill/SEL programs in the country! It has been implemented in thousands of schools nationwide (and internationally) since 1990—primarily by classroom teachers (Tier I), and by counselors, psychologists, and other mental health professionals (Tiers II and III).
Focused on teaching students interpersonal, social problem-solving, conflict prevention and resolution, and emotional control and coping skills, the four Stop & Think levels (preK through Middle School) ensure that all skills are taught inappropriate, developmentally-sensitive ways. An essential part of every teacher's classroom management program, the Stop & Think Program has consistently demonstrated its ability to decrease discipline referrals to the Office, increase positive classroom interactions, and help students and teachers to be more productive and successful.
